Save My Clips is a free, browser-based social media video downloader that covers Snapchat, YouTube Shorts, X (Twitter), Threads and LinkedIn under one roof. Paste a public video link, get an HD MP4 saved to your device. No app, no extension, no account, no watermark.
Why we built it
The video-downloader space is a mess. Most tools cover a single platform, redirect you through five popups, demand an email address, or stamp a watermark across the file you just paid for. The few that cover multiple platforms tend to bury the actual download behind upsells and "premium" tiers.
We wanted one place where you could save a video from any major social platform, in the original quality the creator uploaded, in under fifteen seconds, without giving up anything in exchange. So we built it.
What we believe
- Free should mean free. No daily caps, no batch limits, no premium tier with the actually-useful features locked behind it. Save My Clips is funded by two banner ads per page, which is enough to keep the lights on without compromising the product.
- Your data is not the product. We don't ask for your email, we don't log the links you paste, and we don't fingerprint your browser. Every URL is processed in memory and discarded the moment the file is ready.
- Specialized beats generic. Each platform has its own URL formats, quality options and edge cases. That's why we built five separate tools instead of one generic input that handles every platform badly.
- The web is enough. Apps and extensions ask for permissions, push notifications, demand updates, and outlive their usefulness in your phone. Save My Clips runs in any browser, on any device, with no install required, ever.

Where we're going
On our roadmap: a TikTok downloader, an Instagram Reels downloader, and a Facebook video downloader. Beyond that, we're exploring batch downloads, simple in-browser trimming, and an open API for creators who want to programmatically archive their own content.
